The Royal Danish Theatre is currently seeking a new Music Director to work in close partnership with Opera Director elect Keith Warner in shaping the future of the Royal Danish Opera. The Music Director will work under the leadership of the Artistic Director and the Director General of the Royal Danish Theatre.
Keith Warner and the new Music Director will take over from Artistic Director Kasper Holten and Chief Conductor Michael Schønwandt, who have been at the helm of the Royal Danish Opera since 2000, but who have both chosen to leave their positions when their contracts expire in July 2011.
