Boston Lyric Opera offers showing of Aida for high school groups at Coolidge Corner Theatre.
Exciting field trip opportunity for teachers and parents!
WHAT: Boston Lyric Opera and the Coolidge Corner Theatre present Verdi’s Aida in HD from the Bregenz Festival, starring Tatiana Serjan, Iano Tamar and Rubens Pelizzari, conducted by Carlo Rizz and staged by Graham Vick. The story of the Ethiopian princess in love with her captor and driven to deceit by family loyalty is full of educational opportunity for your music, history, literature, theatre and humanities students. The running time is 2 hours and 30 minutes, including one intermission. It is sung in Italian with English subtitles.
WHEN: Friday, November 12 at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE: Coolidge Corner Theatre, 290 Harvard Street, Brookline
